We are seeking a pro-active and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join Dulwich Prep & Senior starting in November 2024 or January 2025 for a one-year fixed-term contract.
We are looking for a driven, committed, and team-focused individual who can effectively support teaching and learning across Years 1 to 4. The successful applicant will demonstrate a willingness to become fully involved in the life of the school
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining a positive learning atmosphere when our teaching staff are on short-term absence. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Managing classrooms effectively
- Ensuring students stay focused on pre-prepared exercises
- Assist in organising lessons and duty cover
- Input absences and allocate teaching cover
The Ideal candidate should be working towards or meeting the national occupation standards (NOS) in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or Level 3 NVQ or Diploma in specialist support for teaching and learning. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
