Year 2 visit to London

Posted: 5th October 2016

Last week Year 2 spent an enjoyable day at the Museum of London exploring the 350th anniversary exhibition of The Great Fire of London.  Excitement filled the air as the boys were able to handle artefacts, dress up and pretend to be fireman and they even helped rebuild London after the Great Fire using wooden blocks on a map.  As a grand finale to the day the children climbed the 376 steps to the Stone Gallery at St Paul’s Cathedral passing through the spectacular views of The Whispering Gallery onto a panoramic view of the city.
