Pre-Prep Art Week

Posted: 14th June 2016

The boys in the Pre-Prep have had a most exciting and creative Art Week. This year, the theme was ‘recycling’ and the boys honed their skills and experimented with a range of materials and techniques.

Year 1 looked at the effect that rubbish has on our water ecosystems. Amongst the many projects, they particularly enjoyed making papier-mâché fish using bottles, fabric, packets and other recycled materials.

Year 2 focussed on living things and the boys had a fabulous time turning ties into snakes, and old socks into bumblebees!

It has been lovely having parent helpers involved with the boys’ learning and everyone has had lots of fun turning yesterday’s rubbish into tomorrow’s treasures.
