Primary Maths Challenge

Posted: 9th February 2016

In November, all of our Year 5 and Year 6 boys took part in the Primary Maths Challenge.  This nationwide challenge is designed to get pupils involved in interesting and stimulating mathematics, with success in the challenge not dependent on mathematical knowledge alone, but also on the ability to think things through, be logical and find different ways to solve problems.  Special mention should be made of the boys who qualified for the bonus round of the competition, which was held last Wednesday – William (6L), Theo (6D), Leonardo (6H), Robert (6L), Rohan (6D), Henry (6D), George (6W) and Rohan (6H).  Congratulations also to the boys who came first in their year; Year 5 – James (5H); Year 6 – Rohan (6D).  Well done to all of the boys who took part.
