Year 1 Self Portraits

Posted: 14th September 2017

Year 1 have been busy creating their own self-portraits this week and as you can see they have been employing the ‘draft’ method. The idea of doing a draft beforehand was introduced to staff by James Nottingham, during an Inset session at the start of term.  It allows the boys to self-assess, reflect on their practice and therefore make progress. The Pre-Prep staff have been entering the Learning Pit too and have had to draw their own drafts of a butterfly. We will reveal these to the boys at half term and hopefully show them our progress and receive some positive, yet constructive criticism!
