We are the Prep Tribes, tall and proud!

Posted: 27th February 2018

On Thursday morning, the 1C parents were treated to a ‘school tribes’ class assembly.  The boys sung traditional Native American songs, including a beautiful rendition of “Shenandoah” which included their own accompaniment with hand bells.  The songs were interspersed with interesting facts about the school tribes which boys shared with clarity and confidence (all whilst dressed in traditional clothing sporting handmade moccasin shoes!).  Boys watched with pride as they showed their parents their film of ‘How Bear Lost His Tail’ and as a final treat, the boys ended their assembly by performing the Haka!  Needless to say, all this focus on the school tribes has made them itching to compete in their tribe Sports Day in the summer…
