6W in DT

Posted: 10th December 2019

DT-3

In DT, 6W have been developing their understanding of smart materials, in particular thermochromic paint that disappears with heat. To develop their graphic design and textile skills, they have taken the school values and interpreted them using five words.  The boys then experimented with different fonts and spacings to design a stencil using the 2D software Techsoft.

The final design was then laser cut, carefully placed onto a t-shirt, and then hand-stencilled using thermochromic paint. I think you will agree that the results are thoughtful and the designs stunning.
