Author visit

The sound of a mass ‘burp’ produced by nearly 400 children is not something usually heard in our Concert Hall, but it was just part of a riotous event with Andy Griffiths, the internationally famous children’s author who visited the Prep as part of his latest UK tour.  Children from Dulwich Wood Primary joined our Years 3, 4 and 5 for a hugely enjoyable afternoon as Andy explained the many, increasingly wacky, ‘storeys’ in the treehouse of his bestselling series of books which began with The 13-Storey Treehouse, and has now reached The 104-Storey Treehouse.  (We have it on excellent authority that there will eventually be 13 books in the series – so 169 storeys!).
