Tate Modern visits Year 3

Posted: 13th February 2019

Last Monday, the Year 3 boys enjoyed a session with a facilitator from Tate Modern. They participated in a drama workshop where they spent time thinking about photos – how they are staged and how effective they can be – and learning more about the art event (sponsored by Steve McQueen) they are to be part of.

More details of this wonderful project led by Steve McQueen are available at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cuC3zjjkZBk&feature=youtu.be  The project aims to collate photographs from every Year 3 in London by the end of the year. These will then be displayed as one piece of art in the Tate Britain in 2020.
