Bishop of Woolwich visits the Prep

Posted: 4th October 2018

It was a privilege to welcome the Bishop of Woolwich, the Right Reverend Dr Woyin Karowei Dorgu to our Assembly on Friday and hear him speak to the boys about his own life experiences and spirituality.

He shared an insight into his role as Bishop and three lucky volunteers were able to try on his Mitres! He then had 400 boys in awe with his ‘Miracle Mug’ and left them smiling as he described his own early experiences of Church and joining the choir so that he could enjoy the juice and biscuits at the end of the service! His overriding message was the importance of being open to change and taking opportunities. His warmth and kindness was felt by all.
