As a thank you for the £63,000 that the Pre-Prep have earned over the years for Readathon, famous author and illustrator Chris Riddell came to visit. Years 1&2, and the children from our neighbouring school, Dulwich Wood Primary, packed the concert hall to listen to his wonderful stories and watch as he illustrated his talk, even drawing characters in the audience as he spoke. The boys and girls were lucky enough to have their books signed at the end and one boy even had his portrait created for him to take away. It was wonderful for the two schools to come together and have a special treat for being part of Readathon and helping seriously ill children by doing something that they all love…reading!
