Year 5 Christmas Assembly

Posted: 5th December 2017

Year 5 celebrated the start of Advent with their Christmas Assembly in front of a crowd comprising of family and friends.  The festivities started with a short Christmas poem given by Archie before the first of many wonderfully sung carols.

The theme of this year was ‘Christmas Wishes’, and these ranged from wanting extra Christmas pudding and pigs in blankets to simply having time together as families.  Wishes for snow were also popular!

The assembly concluded on a high with the donning of Santa hats and a rousing rendition of ‘We Wish You a Merry Christmas’.  The Christmas spirit was clearly evident as all left with smiles and a warm glow.
