Wellington Rugby Festival

Posted: 28th November 2017

It was cold and blustery when the 1st XV and U11A team boys arrived at Wellington last Wednesday for the annual rugby festival.  Thankfully the school is well protected by its magnificent trees and we were able to forget about the weather and settle down in to getting some much needed game time. Focussing on the rugby, it was a mixed day for both the U13 & U11 teams, winning, drawing and losing some of their matches, whilst shaking off some early season cobwebs. However, that is why we come to these tournaments and as the day went on, both teams made progress and by the end were playing some superb rugby. Boys from Thomas’s Clapham even commented that our U13s were “one of the best teams they have played against.”
