U11 Dublin Rugby Tour

Posted: 31st January 2017

A squad of U11 boys have enjoyed a fabulous weekend of rugby in Dublin. After an early rise on Saturday morning, we travelled to Saint Gerard’s school for a round robin of games against local schools. Both the A & B sides played some scintillating rugby with pace, continuity and immense skill. An afternoon of bowling and arcade games followed by a hearty meal at TGI Friday finished the day off on a high. Sunday morning saw us head to the famous Blackrock Rugby Club (where many Irish Internationals started their rugby careers). The boys played three fixtures each and again demonstrated a combination of skill, tenacity and strength to produce 6 more wins. The boys showed a great sense of pride and sportsmanship throughout the weekend and should be very proud of their efforts.
