Google Virtual Reality Expeditions

Posted: 13th December 2016

There was a lot of excitement today when the boys in Lower School were taken on a virtual tour of the Egyptian Pyramids, the Borneo Rainforests and the Great Barrier Reef. The boys were even lucky enough to be able to view Santa’s journey, visit his house and workshop. This was all possible due to a Google Expeditions workshop, where each boy wore a special headset to experience the journeys in virtual reality 3D. The boys thoroughly enjoyed being explorers and learning about topics that they will study after Christmas. The teachers guided the boys on their virtual journey, pointing out important features and bringing their projects to life. All the boys had fun, enjoyed their experiences and learnt something new too!
