Congratulations to the Swim Squad boys (Maxwell, Sam, Elliott, Cosmo, James and Thomas) who took part in the English Schools Swimming competition, held at the Olympic pool.  With over 200 schools taking part in the qualifying rounds, it was a huge achievement and an honour for the boys to swim in this event.  The boys first swam in the Medley relay, improving on their qualifying time by over 3 seconds to make the final.  In the final the boys again somehow managed to improve on their time with all the boys achieving personal bests, despite extreme pressure from the competition on all sides.  They were able to win an impressive Bronze medal coming in behind Millfield and Mount Kelly.  In the Freestyle relay the boys again managed to improve on their qualifying time but narrowly missed out on another bronze medal by 0.06 seconds in a nail biting finish.
