On Saturday morning the U12 and U13 boys played Northcote Lodge. With the sun shining and a sense of anticipation in the air, the boys took to the field and played with intensity and superb commitment.
It was wonderful to see both boys and parents cheering on other teams and providing a positive and supportive atmosphere across the pitches. With five wins, one loss and a draw the boys came away with a successful tally of results.
However, what was even more pleasing was the fantastic sportsmanship, gratitude and humility displayed by the boys throughout the morning. We look forward to more of this as the season unfolds.
