Year 3 Sports Day

Posted: 24th May 2016

2 students with arms around each other

The rain just about held off on a hot and humid day for a very hard fought Year 3 sports festival. Watched by a huge number of cheering parents, carers and friends, each tribe were in close competition across a number of disciplines.

From sprinting to hurdling, baton relays to the mighty tug of war, each event was competitive and exciting.

It went right down to the wire but Ojibwas just pipped Chippeway to the first prize with Deerfeet and Mohican following very closely behind.

Sportsmanship and fairplay were shown by all and the event only highlighted the skills and character of the year group.
